Warranty Information

Warranty periods vary from product to product please ask one of the Custom Utes team for details on specific products.

  • The warranty is a contract between the purchaser and the supplier, warranties are not transferable to a third party.
  • The warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, accidental or malicious damage.
  • All products have a 'return to base' warranty policy.
  • Serial numbers and proof of purchase must be supplied as part of the warranty process.
  • Unless specified the warranty is a parts only warranty.

Any load carrying options mounted to an Aeroklas canopy must be installed with an approved track-mounted roof rack system.
Accessories mounted to the canopy that are not within Aeroklas specifications may void the warranty.

Weather Proof Terminology

Whilst products such as canopies/hard lids etc are water tested at time of installation, there are certain weather events and scenarios where rain may enter the vehicle tub, via the likes of strong wind and heavy downpours that are not typical of a standard rain shower, parking on specific angles and driving at high speeds through extreme weather. Use of a pressure washer/hose to clean vehicles may at times force water on angles that will allow water to enter the vehicle tub in a manner that is not consistent with weather events.

Aeroklas Canopy Maintenance and Servicing

Just like your vehicle, we recommend a regular service with the below checks of your canopy to keep it in great working condition and allow early troubleshooting of any issues.

  • Ensure all screws and fasteners holding windows, doors & locks are tight
  • Lubricate window hinges and lock mechanisms with good quality grease
  • Inspect the glass to identify any chips or scratches
  • Clean gas struts with a damp cloth.
  • Clean and rinse off your canopy after driving in sand, saltwater, mud, or other debris
  • Clean your canopy with a clean sponge or soft cloth and car wash detergent. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning tools

These checks are recommended to be done approximately every 5000km

Additional details and diagram can be found on the yellow sticker attached to the underside of the canopy rear window (visible when open).
